We follow the unlucky footsteps of California medical student Marcus Villagren, who, while studying pediatrics in India, was kidnapped. When he couldn't meet the Mafia's ransom demands, Marcus was turned over to a corrupt legal system and sentenced to prison--for a "crime" of which he has no knowledge.
